Abid Clever Drip Brewers Now For Sale
Monday, 6 July 2009
In May I had the opportunity to visit Cafe Myriade in Montreal. I wrote about a drip brewer I’d never seen before, called the Abid. The Abid is a hybrid french-press / pourover, allowing ultimate control of steep time via a piston. The price is $13.50 plus $5 shipping and handling. To purchase, click the ‘Buy Now’ button and the order will be shipped the same day. In order to save on shipping costs, the Abid will be shipped in its original packaging.

Do you have to use paper or cloth filter with this? I currently use a gold filter. Just curious. Will have to try and experiment.

How do I buy more than one?
No. 5 — August 12th, 2009 at 6:28 am
Unfortunately at this point, Google Checkout can only specify a quantity of 1. If you want more than one, you could either place a couple separate orders, or place one order and I could modify the order for you to reflect how many you would like.

Since you do not accept orders from Canada using Google Checkout, How does one go about ordering from Canada

Hey Jake,
My boss just bought one of these from you and we were nerding out over it today. Plus a customer asked about it and I just watched with my own eyes some word-of-mouth advertising go down. I was pumped.
Wanna hang out in Ethiopia this fall?

Many thanks. Heard that they will make one with a lid too. Strange that they made one without in the first place. Oh, well…
Best,
Johan

Hello Johan,
This one comes with a lid, I think the ones without the lid may be the tea brewer, which has a filter for tea (but doesn’t work with coffee).
The shipping price of the Abid to Sweden is $11.75, so the total will be $25.25USD or 179.48 Swedish Kronor including shipping. In the checkout menu, just select ‘Shipping to Sweden.’
Thanks,
Jake

Jake,
I think I may be short on the shipping as I found no alternative to Sweden. Please send me your snailer and I’ll send you a proper bank note to cover the balance.
